1. Membership term & commitment
All Maintenance Plans require a minimum 12-month agreement. Early cancellation requires payment of the remaining balance in full. Memberships are non-transferable. In the event of a home sale, the agreement may be terminated without penalty only if the new homeowner enrolls in a new plan with East Coast Water Quality.
2. System qualification & eligibility
Systems must have received a professional inspection within the past 90 days. RO systems must have received annual filter change, sanitization, and service. Systems must be in serviceable condition at enrollment. East Coast Water Quality reserves the right to approve or deny enrollment. Pre-existing issues are not covered.
3. Systems over 5 years old
Systems over five (5) years old enrolling in Silver or Gold are subject to an additional $20 monthly fee (non-original purchasers only). East Coast Water Quality reserves the right to approve or deny coverage and adjust pricing based on condition.
4. Maintenance services
Bronze includes one (1) annual maintenance visit. Gold includes four (4) quarterly visits per year. Services include inspection, testing, and system performance evaluation.
5. Labor coverage
Silver and Gold include 100% FREE labor on repairs for whole home water treatment systems. Labor coverage does NOT include: freezing damage, acts of God, misuse or neglect, improper installation not performed by East Coast Water Quality, or pre-existing conditions.
6. Salt service (Gold only)
Includes FREE salt delivery and installation, up to three (3) bags per scheduled visit. Additional salt may incur charges.
7. Billing & payment
Monthly payments are drafted on either the 12th or the 27th. Payments are required to maintain active membership status.
8. Appointments & access
Customer must provide safe access during scheduled service windows. Appointments are within a 3-hour arrival window. A $100 return visit fee applies if service cannot be completed due to customer absence.
9. Customer responsibilities
Maintain system per manufacturer recommendations. Prevent damage from freezing, environmental exposure, misuse or neglect. Ensure system remains accessible.
10. Company discretion
East Coast Water Quality reserves the right to approve or deny membership, modify coverage, adjust pricing, and refuse service for unsafe conditions.
