The latest Newport News Waterworks report summarizes 2025 testing for the Lower Peninsula system. The utility reports that the water met state and federal standards, while the same report also gives homeowners useful context about hardness, chloramines, PFAS monitoring and plumbing-related lead.
Official standards and EWG guidelines are different benchmarks.
